Whenever I receive fresh flowers, it always makes me really happy. Of course, I was super stoked to receive this bouquet from A Better Florist. While it looked like the Julianne on the website, I requested it to have that tinge of vintage vibe and they recreated one for me. If you find the pictures familiar, I posted some photos in my earlier post when I had high tea at Pan Pacific hotel.
The delivery time was met without any hiccups and the flowers came fresh and pretty. It lasted me for about a week with proper care of course. I really love how the big red roses come together. It makes everything brightens up.
At the same time, A Better Florist conducts flower bouquet arrangement workshops and they invited me to go down for one as well. It was really fun and I had an amazing time! Most people brought their girl friends with them, but I had my sweet husband who attended this workshop with me! Hey, there was one other guy who came with his girlfriend too. I think the guys are really sporting and I think my hubs deserves to be crowned for his effort!
So to begin, they got us to self introduce and to share what our favorite flower is. They then described what we will be doing that day and the focus is the sunflower.
They also taught us how to fold the papers to make the whole bouquet look pretty. Here are some photos behind the scenes.
There. That’s my husband, looking like he’s concentrating intensively but he really did his bouquet very quickly and it looks very pretty. My husband enjoyed the session too! Perhaps he knows part of it it makes me a happy woman too. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Us and our end product. 🙂
Not too bad right? You can make one yourself too!
Do follow A Better Florist on their Instagram to check out their available workshops and meanwhile, perhaps it is time to get a bouquet to gift your mum since Mother’s Day is just round the corner? Make the woman who went through 9 months of carrying you in her tummy a really happy one, or husbands, you can also get one for your wife. 🙂
Pop over to www.abetterflorist.com to have a look on what they have or you can simply have a chat with them and tell them your requirements.
